Cambridge Sword fencers selected for GBR Pathway
Congratulations to our elite performance fencers Ethan Smith and Rose Raju, Ethan Smith, who has fenced with us for 7 years has been accepted by GBR Pathway programme and has also applied for the British Fencing DiSE programme. These programmes are for fencers who show great potential and is the result of years of hard work by Ethan, his coach Mark Baker, his parents and the support of our Cambridge Sword Community.

Rosie accepting her trophy for winning the plate competition at the Leon Paul BRC Cadet in June. At still only 13 years old, she finished ranked 17 out of 53 and won the plate comp (for ranked 17-53)
Rose Raju has also been accepted by GBR Pathway and has been with Cambridge Sword for three years, this achievement is made possible by her dedication in training with her coach Bob Bales, as well as the support of family and club members.
