LP Cadet Summer Foil - Plate Comp Gold for Rose

Last weekend, Rose competed in her first national ranking Leon Paul Summer Cadet (U17) Foil event. Everything was new for her including the competition format. After completing two rounds of poules, she missed a spot in the top 16 seeding and ended up competing in the plate competition at which she was top seed. Rose decided to do her utmost best and did the most fencing she has ever done in an event, fencing 2 poules and fighting hard, she managed, point by point to get through five rounds of DEs to win a gold! She ends the event in 17th place out of 53. A fantastic start to the cadet season! Well done Rose!
